Part 2:Level 10 to Master Craftsmen
Required Mastery: 45,000
Note (Important):
Up to this point of the Accessory Crafting process, items would deteriorate gradually as you became a higher level than a crafted item’s required level. This number is shown on any given item in a bar above the materials under the abbreviation “Rec. Lv.” Now that you have reached Level 10, any item that has a Rec. Lv. of 7 or below will not give any Mastery and only take 5 Fatigue.
Another change that has been made in the transition from Level 9 to Level 10 is that there is a timer which has been placed on the crafting system. Everytime you craft an item, you will have to wait 15 minutes to craft another of the same item. To clarify, the timer only applies to the specific item that you crafted, and not other, different items.
Finally, and Most Importantly, there has been a special requirement put in place for maintaining your Mastery in Level 10. This requirement is that you must craft at least one item every 17-18 hours from your last craft. If you do not do this, you will lose the Mastery you have in massive chunks, and may be absolutely devastating to your materials if you are not careful.
Mastery Scaling for Level 10:
Rec. Lv. < 8:0 Mastery 5 Fatigue
Rec. Lv. 8: 512 Mastery 5 – 10 Fatigue
Rec. Lv. 9: 900 Mastery 5 – 10 Fatigue
Rec. Lv. 10: 3700 Mastery 5 – 10 Fatigue
*These values do change for some items
Side-Note:
Items that have a Level Requirement of 10 are different from other items because they only consist of recipe-required items. This also means that they are extremely difficult and unreasonable to craft as a way of leveling to Master Craftsmen, and why it is in your best interest to mass produce items with a Level Requirement of 9.

Part 3:Master Craftsmen to Meister
Required Mastery: 160,000
Note:
Congratulations, you have hit Master Craftsmen. From here until Meister is fairly easy compared to Level 10 to Master. You will mainly be focusing on making the Gray Class Meister Symbols, which you can find under the Face Accessory tab in your profession window.
Rules from leveling from Level 10 to Master still apply going to Meister, however, if you end up having 0 Mastery at Master Craftsmen and miss crafting for that day, you will drop down a level back to Level 10. This is easily resolved as you only need to craft one item and pay the fee to get back to Master, but if you continue to not craft items daily, you can drop all the way down to Level 10 with 0 Mastery.
Recommended Items to Craft:
- Gray Warrior/Magician/Archer/Thief/Pirate Meister Symbol
- Rec. Lv. [Master Craftsmen] 5324 Mastery 10 Fatigue
- Required Materials
- Gray Warrior/Magician/Archer/Thief/Pirate Symbol (x1)
- Emerald (x4)
- Intermediate Abrasive (x2)
- Intermediate Item Crystal (x8)
- Intermediate Item Crystals can be easily obtained by buying Level 70+ equips from the Armor Merchant In Leafre and extracting them in Ardentmill.
- Basic Spell Essence (x15)
- Superior Abrasive (x1)
- Superior Item Crystal (x20)
- Philosopher’s Stone (x3)
- Gray Warrior/Magician/Archer/Thief/Pirate Symbol (x1)
Part 4:Meister Crafting
Welcome to Meister Accessory Crafting!
First off, you may notice that your character has an effect following you around. This is the Meister Effect, and each profession has one. If you would like to disable or re-enable it, you can open up the Profession Tab with the Key Bind and toggle it on and off there.
How to Maintain Meister:
(WIP)
As a Meister, you are able to craft any item that you want so long as it does not require a recipe. The main reason that people get to Meister Accessory Crafting for is the Meister Ring and Meister Earring.
Meister Ring:
- Rec. Lv. [Meister] 8640 Mastery 100 Fatigue
- Success: 100% Premium: 20%
- Required Materials
- Twisted Time (x800)
- Superior Abrasive (x50)
- Mana Crystal (x100)
- Philosopher’s Stone (x35)
- Primal Essence (x1)
- Grand Spell Essence (x150)
- Required Materials
Reason to Craft:
The Meister Ring is considered a BiS (Best in Slot) item and most definitely a more end game item because of the sheer effort it takes to craft one. This item became BiS after the 25 Star Update, and because the ring is Level 140, it is able to get all 25 stars. Having a clean ring may not help, but it is definitely better to have it to star in the future than not having one at all.
The second reason is not required for end-game, but it is basically 100% necessary in terms of practicality. You are able to craft a second Meister Ring and star this second ring all the way up to 22 stars. Then you are able to transfer the ring onto a Superior Gollux Ring to get it automatically to 21 stars. Keep in mind that this will override the potential on the Gollux Ring, but if you have the money/mesos in your respective server, having the 21 stars and working up to get your potential back is more than worth it. Also, flames transfer from the old equipment onto the new equipment, and Nexon had confirmed that Gollux equips would not get the same Boss bonus that CRA, Absolab, and Arcane equips would get. Surprisingly, Meister equips do get this bonus, so if you do plan to transfer, make sure you have the flames you want beforehand.
Maplestory Best In Slot
Meister Earrings:
- Rec. Lv. [Meister] 8640 Mastery 100 Fatigue
- Success: 100% Premium: 20%
- Required Materials
- Twisted Time (x600)
- Superior Abrasive (x50)
- Mana Crystal (x100)
- Philosopher’s Stone (x35)
- Confusion Fragment (x10)
- Grand Spell Essence (x150)
- Required Materials
Reason to Craft:
The Meister Earring by itself is not very useful, but what it is used for is transposing into Sweetwater Earrings. Unlike Sweetwater equips obtained from killing bosses in voyages, the ones that you buy can be 25 stars even after transposing. The preferred earrings to transpose into Sweetwater Earrings are the Inverse Earrings from Kritias, but they cost 200 Kritias Commemorative Coins, or 200 Kritias Dailies/Invasions. The stat difference between transposing one opposed to the other is minimal, about 1 to 2 stat and Att/M.Att.
Best in Slot Event Items
So, after watching the community livestream last night, we found out that there are currently no plans to bring back the Wondroid or Sengoku Badge events. My issue, as well as other players lacking these items, is that they're currently BiS (Best in Slot) items, with no real substitutes that can be used. Given how many people repeatedly ask for these events to make a return through your community streams, social media, and the forums, is there any real reason these aren't being considered? Is it truly too hectic a release schedule that we can't fit these events into the game again? Would it be possible to at least hear a 'why?' on this topic? Lets go over what exactly these two items give over their substitutes.
The Wondroid Heart specifically is permanent. Regardless of stat gain, this is the important part due to potentials. No one wants to redo their pots every month on a new heart.
The Sengoku Badge gives 76 main stat, and 10 Attack/Magic Attack, at 17 stars. As well as 30%+ main stat as a potential
The substitute, currently, for the Sengoku Badge, is the Crystal Ventus Badge, which comes from all forms of Magnus. Which gives 10 main stat and 5 attack/magic attack. No potential.
There's a bit of a discrepancy there, in stats. So, I suppose my question is, given this, why can't we have these events back? If there are so many people asking for their return, couldn't we manage to get them in so newer players don't feel ignored? Because currently, yesterday's stream telling me you have no plans to return them felt like a slap in the face.
Thank you for your time, I apologize for any ranting, but I feel like this should be voiced.
And yes, I understand KMS does in fact not have pottable badges. But we aren't KMS, and a lot of the GMS playerbase already has one. I'd consider it a moot point, considering that. Not to mention Lab Server events, for the Legion pieces.

Maplestory Best Gear
- I rather have a non event solution than forcing events to come back. Maybe expand upon Profession for crafting a meta perma heart and badge, especially in Reboot that once u craft meister and 22 star, people dont touch it again. Maybe something like a new custom item like a Meister tier heart to match the 3 set meister accessories we have already, and a meister badge or something.
- I'm all for an alternative that isn't event based, and I would agree that's the best solution. However, I'd imagine it's more realistic to ask Nexon to return the events, rather than create something brand new.
- Event-based best-in-slot? All that says to me is a truckload of rng that can, and more often than not will, hang you out to dry. Especially since they'll never implement something even remotely similar to AK's diligence backstop proposal.
Best-in-slot items should be freely obtainable, which is to say no arbitrary window of time in which to acquire it.
